Myrtle Beach State Park has hour restrictions in which you can bring your dog during the summer months. At Huntington Beach State Park your dog is welcome any time! Each section of the Grand Strand has it's own regulations on having your pets on the beach. The two state parks require the dog to be on a leash at all times. North Myrtle has strict leash laws as well. Litchfield Beach has leash requirements from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9am. to 5pm. I love taking my double doodle Bowie to Huntington Beach State Park and walking down to Litchfield Beach where I can let him off leash so he can enjoy romping around with his buddies! Bowie loves the ocean!
